This was my favorite event so far! OH MAN! There were a little over thirty of us in costume - which was amazing! Also, Jedi in a group are way more cool than by themselves and we had five of us tonight! We took photos with fans and little kids constantly. I got hugged by a little girl and gave out my first ever autograph to a little boy who was collecting autographs from everyone - troopers, Vaders, the Tuskan and Jedi members. I never expect that. I signed it "Culurien A'jelor," of course. She's officially real now. The event went from 6 - 9 p.m. with mustering time at 4:30 p.m. We started out in the entry way, then looped around the stadium back to where we started. Afterward, we got pancakes at iHOP at 11 p.m. FUN TIMES!
I love watching people get into costume - it's like a transformation into awesome!
The gates opened and in everyone came! We were hardly left alone for a few seconds in the first hour - a crowd surrounded us - and we all took constant pictures with people. SO FUN. I love standing with other Jedi. I do need to work on my poses though.
It turns out, I've acquired a permanent form of Dragon*Con fever which means I must always have a Jedi robe on hand to wear on short notice. This blog is about my slow collection of nerd costume accessories.
