Intro
I've felt His love calling me today and yesterday. I'm not sure if that's right, but that's the only way I know to describe it. I think I'll probably spend a long while with Him on Saturday, listening for Him and reading. It seems I'm developing a deeper need of Him. I really need the Lord. When I don't meet with Him for a long time, in deep thought and prayer, I get so thirsty.
Here's some things that I read today. George Mueller was a GREAT man of faith and of prayer, and his words here made me stronger. I also add some more Scripture to the promises page I have. A part of Psalm 103 stuck out to me that hasn't before.
Quote by George Mueller, from Streams in the Desert
Oh, the hundreds, yea, the thousands of times that I have found it thus within the past seventy years and four months!
When it seemed impossible that help could come, help did come; for God has His own resources. He is not confined. In ten thousand different ways, and at ten thousand different times God may help us.
Our business is to spread our cases before the Lord, in childlike simplicity to pour out all our heart before God, saying,
“I do not deserve that Thou shouldst hear me and answer my requests, but for the sake of my precious Lord Jesus; for His sake answer my prayer, and give me grace quietly to wait till it please Thee to answer my prayer. For I believe Thou wilt do it in Thine own time and way.”
“For I shall yet praise him.” More prayer, more exercise of faith, more patient waiting, and the result will be blessing, abundant blessing. Thus I have found it many hundreds of times, and therefore I continually say to myself, “Hope thou in God.” —George Mueller
Psalm 103:4-5
Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.
Psalm 103:19-22
And His kingdom rules over all.
20 Bless the Lord, you His angels,
Who excel in strength, who do His word,
Heeding the voice of His word.
21 Bless the Lord, all you His hosts,
You ministers of His, who do His pleasure.
22 Bless the Lord, all His works,
In all places of His dominion.
Bless the Lord, O my soul!

I listened to some great songs this morning. I'll post them later, maybe on the weekend.
