There was lots of other good food as well - and fruit and drinks. Khalid was very proud of the drinks. I had coffee and it was awesome - Starbucks eight o'clock - it must be my favorite or something. Otherwise, french presses are amazing and everyone should use them. Kevin said someone told him that french pressed coffee was bad for your heart. For some reason, I found this hilarious. It reminded me of Dr. Saadein saying that deli turkey would give me cancer, because of the azides in it. I still haven't found out whether or not that's true.
Dr. Salaita's son Jad is the cutest 10 month old ever! He watched everyone, ate the remote and loves the fans around the house. They have a sweet dog too - Lexi, poodle mix. She was very peaceful. Khalid said she acted more like a cat, than a dog. I think those are the best kinds of dogs.
I listened to everyone talk - John enjoyed meeting people and talked to one guy briefly about Lexus. It was really raining a lot that day - kind of nice, actually. I had been worried I'd feel like an impostor at this event, but I didn't, for which I was relieved. It made me relax a lot more about the summer, actually. A great way to start things off!
I would say more, but I'm too tired. Maybe I'll add more later.
